A. SCOTT HENSHALL
Designer

Scott Henshall has been dominating the Red Carpet since 1998 when, at age 22, he became the youngest designer to show during London Fashion Week.

In 2000, he won the Vidal Sassoon Award for cutting edge talent (sponsorship for London Fashion Week) and has since been gathering media attention as the designer of choice for London's "it" girls and international celebrities, his client list includes Victoria Beckham, Paris Hilton, Rosario Dawson, Victoria Silverstedt, Wyclef Jean, Kimberley Stewart and Supermodel Petra Nemcova.

Scott was named "King of the Red Carpet" (Daily Express December 2004) and "Creator of the Message Dress" (Hillary Alexander, fashion director of the Telegraph, July 2002). He has been dominating the red carpet since 2002 when he dressed supermodel Jodie Kidd in a web of lace for the Spiderman premiere. For the Spiderman 2 premiere he created the world's most expensive dress, a £5 million diamond cobweb dress worn by Samantha Mumba.

The Scott Henshall Mainline Collection has been stocked in the world's most discerning stores including Saks N.Y.C., Fred Segal L.A., Joyce Boutique Hong Kong, Isetan Japan and Harrods London.

During 2001 and 2002 Scott was chosen by Mulberry as their Creative Director to revamp their English Country Spirit. Ransacking the archives, he produced luxurious jewel items and was responsible for their rebranding, advertising (Scott chose Anna Friel as the face of Mulberry), fashion and accesory collections and for placing the brand on major celebrities - Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Dido and Victoria Beckham to name a few - which in turn elevated their profile.

In Japan, for the past nine years Scott has had a hugely successful brand "Revisitation by Scott Henshall" in collaboration with Japanese megabrand Abahouse. Abahouse gave Scott the unique opportunity, in the late 90s, to create his own label for the Japanese market and it has gone from strength to strength. "Revisitation by Scott Henshall" now has over 17 stores and over 300 stockists, the flagship is in Aoyama where neighbours include Prada and Dolce & Gabanna.

Core is Scott Henshall's first selling collection since 2002 and the first time he has ever created menswear.
